In October, the children were scheduled to visit Sun Rock Farm to learn all about farm animals, planting vegetables, hunting eggs. That didn't happen because of the heavy rain. Thistrip has been re-scheduled for May, 2010.
This month we will be spending a large amount of time preparing our Christmas program for the members of our T.O.Y. (Together, Old and Young.) The older folks really enjoy the little ones' performances.
The children have been learning about Baptism in religion class.
Some of the children have "taken off" with their reading skills. Others have become quite "speedy" with math facts. This is always a wonderful experience for a teacher to have.
Now that we are in November we become mindful of the many blessings we have in our country, in our families and among our friends. The Sisters of Divine Providence join me in wishing all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
