Welcome to my blog! Again, welcome to first grade! I regret I have not entered more information on this site. Here goes.
The year got off to a very good start. We have done so much this first quarter and it is very evident that the children are really into learning!
They have completed a reader, have begun in earnest to master the math facts through 10 and have already done a project in science on animals. Their Labor Day projects for social studies were very impressive as well.
They are about to learn all about the sacrament of Baptism and will share their stories.
We will take our first field trip to St. Anne Convent to explore the woods and to visit the older Sisters in Holy Family Home. I know that rolling down the front hill will be a fun thing to do!
Soon all of us will begin to work on the annual Christmas play for our older friends in the parish.
First grade is a great experience for all!
